Well hello, again! Let me officially introduce myself further with a little bit about me: I’m Josie, the blogger behind The Beachy Peach. I live in South Florida with my lovely husband, Marc, and our two dogs, Moose (Pomeranian) and Indy (Pitbull). Originally from a small town in South Georgia, I will always consider myself a Georgia Peach at heart. Which is why I decided to name my blog… The Beachy Peach!
The University of Georgia is my alma mater – Go Dawgs! I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion prior to studying Occupational Therapy at Jacksonville University for graduate school. I currently work full-time as an occupational therapist in the acute care setting.
In my free time, I love being in or near water. The ocean, the pool, a warm bubble bath, you name it. I consider myself to be a foodie and love trying new restaurants, happy hours, and brunch spots. But more often than not, Marc and I end up ordering takeout because I’m too comfy to leave the house. Cue my introverted homebody side! I also have a huge sweet tooth. Sometimes I feel like I can’t officially wind down for the night until its satisfied. Which makes having a Crumbl Cookies dangerously close to our apartment both a blessing and a curse.
I love getting lost in a good book almost as much as I love getting lost in HomeGoods and Target. I may or may not have a borderline obsession with seasonal décor, soft blankets, and smelly good candles. My bucket list is forever long and I am always looking forward to new adventures. On the contrary, I can nap almost anywhere at almost any time.
